Last week in Skagway I decided I would try a shore excursion and I’m quite content with the decision I made. We took a Catamaran to Glacier Point and then hiked in to a river where we got in canoes and paddle up to the face of the Davidson Glacier. The size of the glacier simply amazed me, there is no way of portraying how large it is in a photograph. The color was also quite impressive as the glacier actually seemed more blue than the sky. All in all it was a nice trip and provided some long needed relaxation.
