Day two in Rome

Day two was packed full! We started the morning with a five minute walk to the Trevi Fountain. Afterwards, we made our way to the Pantheon. Just down the street from there was one of the best coffee/pastry shops I’ve ever been to, Sant’Eustachio II Caffè.

After breakfast we made our way to Piazza di Spagna and the Spanish Steps. Just up the street was one of the most relaxing parts of our trip. Villa Borghese, is a large park/gardens. It seemed like the whole city was crawling with people but this place was beautiful and just short of completely empty. We ended up spending most of the afternoon there.

That evening we headed to Piazza Navona to check out the plaza as well as a restaurant, Bernini, I came across while looking at reviews. It’s another place I would most certainly recommend. Hannah had the best lasagna I’ve ever tasted and probably will ever and my pasta dish wasn’t too shabby either. On the way back to the hotel we walked back by the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain for another look to close out the evening.
