After leaving Hahei, Hannah and I drove a few hours to Waitomo Caves. We spent the better part of the afternoon floating through the underground cave which was amazing enough in itself but the glowworms covering the ceiling made it a pretty unique experience. Following that, we took a quick detour to Marokopa Falls on the way to Hamilton, where we caught our flight to the South Island the following morning.
